This data represents that social media usage is most prominent in the 12-34 age bracket with 3 of the 4 sites listed having the highest percentage of users in this bracket. LinkedIn is the only excepton with the majority of users in the 35-54 age bracket. This may be due to the professional nature of LinkedIn as its target audience is predominatly buisness people and aimed at encouraging business networking and emplpoyment. Hence the average age of users would be expected ti be higher in comparison to other sites such as instagram which are marketed towards teenagers and a less business oriented audience.
